Matt update for March 2012

Fri, 30 Mar 2012 13:16:28 -0400

Hello, all! Matt has been doing very well since his last surgery in early February to open up his nasal airway. He went to one followup appointment in the OR two weeks after his surgery, and they said things looked good then and to come back to the regular ENT office (clinic) in another month. He just had that appointment earlier this week, and they said that he still appears to be completely open and clear! Yay! ENT said that as of now, Matt is officially done with their department unless something comes up to require them. Yay! Hopefully, that is the last time we will need to worry about his nasal airway!

The next few posts will be mostly pictures of things we've been doing lately. Every day, I have high hopes of writing novellas on our recent adventures with the kids, but never manage to accomplish much, so I'll just stick to images for a bit. At least I can offer a glimpse of what the kids have been doing and how they are growing. :-)

In February, we went to the museum with Grammy & Aunt Becky.

High-speed video slide show! (or "Pummelvision")

Thu, 03 Feb 2011 07:15:42 -0500

I ran across this neat online tool a few weeks ago called Pummelvision that will create a video of any selection of your photos from various online photo repositories and throw a simple, energetic beat soundtrack on it. It is no more than a photo slide show, but it is done at high speed, which encourages you to use more photos than you would use in a traditional photo slide show.
